In-car singing reduces sales stress

Stressed out sales jobs staff could bring down stress levels by laughing or singing out loud in their car, according to Confused.com.

Research by the price comparison site reveal that more than three quarters of Brits enjoy nothing more than a giggle or sing-song on solo car journeys.

But for sales jobs that involve spending a lot of time on the road, singing and laughing can help develop "better driving conditions" and "make for calmer and more rational drivers", Confused.com managing director Debra Williams explains.

"Singing and laughing is beneficial to drivers' happiness, in what can be sometimes stressful situations," she added.

Sales jobs employees from Swansea are the most likely to sing away their stress, according to the poll, with 86 per cent of these Welsh city-dwellers admitting to having a blast in their car.

Candidates recently landing themselves new sales recruitment roles in Glasgow are also likely to celebrate on their car journey home, with 86 per cent claiming to enjoy a jolly car jaunt on a regular basis.
