76% of jobseekers 'would move or undergo extra training'
More than 75 per cent of people looking for positions such as sales jobs would be willing to move overseas or undergo additional training to get it, a study finds.
Research by NORAS 2009 has found that those currently holding a junior position are more likely to be prepared to retrain, with these comprising 37 per cent of this category.
In addition, the study found that those who would be willing to make these sacrifices are also likely to be more diligent when looking for work online.
Giles Guest, managing director of Enhance Media, claims that employers should work to target flexible candidates when difficult sales jobs are available.
He states: "In the current economic climate the competition for vacancies has increased and candidates appear to be increasingly willing to expand their skills and search outside to get the job that they want."
