Financial sales jobs created by motor company

Kwik-Fit Insurance has announced plans to expand its workforce and create 84 new sales jobs.

The Lanarkshire-based firm, which deals with motor, home, van and pet insurance, is hoping to expand its staff to more than 1,000 at its Uddingston headquarters by the end of the year.

New recruits at the company will take up a variety of roles, including outbound sales, internet sales and policy renewals.

Brendan Devine, group managing director of Kwik-Fit Financial Services, said that the firm was looking to grow its operations and is seeking the best people to help it do that.

He added: "We are growing our policy numbers year on year and we want to maintain that momentum by adding to the great team we already have."

Lanark and Hamilton East MP Jim Hood welcomed the news, adding that it was a good boost to the local economy and his constituents.
