Online scheme to help women get back into sales jobs
An online scheme will be launched tomorrow aimed at helping women get back into sales jobs.
WomenIntoBusiness.ni.com will give support and information to females who want to become either employed or self-employed.
Christine Doyle, chair of Women in Business Northern Ireland, told the Belfast Telegraph that the group plays an important role in providing peer business support and networking opportunities which can help grow the economy.
"Government statistics show that there are around 680,000 majority women-owned businesses in the UK, generating £45 billion for the UK economy. Yet, of the 4.7 million UK enterprises, only 15 per cent of them are led by women," she added.
The group's website will be unveiled at an event held by the Women in Business Network at Belfast Castle, which will mark Women's Enterprise Day.
Inez McCormack, one of the most influential civil rights leaders in Northern Ireland and chair of the Participation and the Practice of Rights Project, will be the keynote speaker at the enterprise event.
Aaron Wallis are a specialist sales recruitment agency that offers hundreds of sales jobs together with some of the most comprehensive sales tips and career advice available to UK sales professionals.
